Wildflower and Daisy

Fertilization and planting.
Just a seed
floating in water,
mixed with nutrients and electrolytes and such.

Eve, did the same organic wonderment distract you as well?
Or, might you have considered the miracle and simply rejoiced.

A wildflower first.
Confident, but cautious.
Reaching tall toward heaven.
Stubborn, will you surrender your will?
Slender beauty,
contagious joy.
Indeed, my flower, you may be as wild as your name suggests,
but natural compassion radiates from your every bone.

Sarah, did you also ponder your child and the nations to come?
Or, might you have recognized the lineage,
and rejoiced at the descendent to be raised.

A daisy second.
Peaceful and still.
Fixed with curiosity.
Will you be content with mystery?
Inquisitive and studious,
Patient as the sun.
Indeed, my flower, you may be as beautiful as your name suggests,
but those charming eyes provide the window to a precious spirit.

Mary, you held faith in the Father for who your Son was.
You cherished His moments and rejoiced at His ascension.
Finding favor with God, a mother to the end.
That I too might live in wisdom,
acknowledging the garden I tender.

Remember, my dears,
the roots from which you stand,
the holy water poured upon your head.
You will grow, my daughters.
Please, stay within your Shepherd's field.
